Paul F Accomplishments
Paul F is the surviving founding member of the club, having attended the first meeting in April of 1986. He has been a member ever since and is currently the President and North Texas Council representative for the club. His biography can be found in the July 2017 newsletter. |
September 2004 to the present During the building preparation, Paul acquired supplies, tools, participated in the wall tear-down, built sub-tables for almost all of the gym, laid track, ballasted track, insulation, window coverings, fabricated control panels and supports for Bob T wiring. Paul has been very active in building maintenance for not only our area, but for the adjacent areas that affect ours. Thia includes hanging and removing skirts, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, electrical (lighting), AC installation, ceiling repair, sidewalk, and forestry. Paul has installed fascia around the layout. He and Rob modified the trailer park hole at Dexter. At Stonehead Mountain - redid track and relocated turnout to Mathis Mine. Paul has been mentioned in the following newsletters:

28 Jan 2020 — Bob T Photo After having an engine with an open frame motor suddenly stall due to a track nail causing a jam, Paul made a magnet car. Since running it over the layout approximately 6 track nails and spikes have been recovered. |
August 2000 — July 2004 Paul was instrumental in building the tables at the Band Hall. |
November 1995 — December 1999 Paul helped build the floor at the Texan with Bill LeR, Ed McC, Tom B, and Ray Y. The layout room was in the area between the stage and the front entrance, i.e., it sloped for the "no longer there" seats. |
October 1988 — October 1995 Paul was active at this location, including building preparation, the early loop and the revised loop. |
July 1987 — September 1988 Paul was active at this location, both in building preparation and roof repair, and in the module setup. |
27 September 1986 Paul helped build the six corner modules used at the Crossroads Mall setup. Paul also had a module here. |
