How did you get started in model railroading?

When I was 8 or 9 my parents got me a lionel set with alot of extra track. I could run trains from the back bedroom to the kitchen.

What part of the hobby do you enjoy the most?

For me, the ideal layout would be a bullet train with double track. The two mains would be identical in length and capable of handling prototype speeds

What is your favorite scale?

HO Scale
