How did you get started in model railroading?

I have had a general interest in trains since I was a young child but had to put it on the back burner for a while until a little over a year ago, when I was given my grandpa's collection. which reignited my interest in the hobby.

What part of the hobby do you enjoy the most?

It's hard to narrow down what my favorite part of the hobby is if I had to narrow it down to two, I would say it's community around it and the history behind the prototype and the models of themselves.

What is your favorite scale?

My personal favorite scale is HO, but I love watching the larger scales like O and G scale when I'm at shows.

What Eras and Equipment do you want to model?

I don't have a particular era that I want to model but I love running larger locomotives and a long consist of cars.

What road name do you want to collect?

My favorite road name is the Pennsylvania railroad mainly for their innovation with electric locomotives and duplex drive locomotives. But I have a large love for most.
