Bob T Photo 14 September 2019 Webmaster note — Museum at East Onionbreath. The "shed" pulling two boxcars. Tram track is 21 3/4 inch gauge (approximately 2 ft gauge). Green boxcar is actual locomotive power. Z scale mechanism with HO scale shell.
Webmaster note — Closeup of old time trains - a John Bull and two versions of Dewitt Clinton locomotives. |
Rob D's Blog 13 November 2018 I took a couple more shots of the museum section of the layout. This area has been bare for most of the time I have been in the club and was recently updated with Bob A and Jared doing most of the work.

Rob D's Blog 09 November 2018 Now as we go around the main layout here is a section that deserves to get more coverage and I will work at that in the near future. The section with all the green and the cute little trains is removable and known as the museum section. That area has been bare plywood for a long time.
A little closer view. |
Rob D's Blog 05 August 2018 This is the hidden area under the section Bob A was working on. It seems there was a dead spot in the track and it was traced to a feeder connection that went bad. It was fixed and will be tested before the plywood is put back. |
October 2017 Bob A and Jared P started updating the scenery at the East Onionbreath Museum in October of 2017. For details click here. |
October 2013 The East Onionbreath Museum is located on a plateau just above the East Onionbreath Station. At one time unobtanium ore was transferred from the quarry to ore cars on the mainline siding below. The 2 foot gauge (technically HOn21&3/4) mining line is located on a loop surrounding the museum. Non–operating stub switches are used with 4 spikes in every tie. (Handlaid by Bob T, who likes to do track.) The motive power is the "shed". However, the power is really behind in the box car. (Again, actually a Z-scale diesel engine with a box car shell.) |
